Care at home

Care at Home services can help to provide you with support to allow you to continue to live independently in your own home. You may need this support on an ongoing basis, or for a short period of time, such as following a stay in hospital while you recover or adapt to your new circumstances.

Carers can help you with personal care tasks, such as:

  • washing and dressing
  • taking and managing your medication
  • going to the toilet
  • help with preparing and eating meals

Care at home services are offered seven days a week (including public holidays) and can be provided by our in-house carers or by private agencies we contract with to provide high-quality home care.

To receive a service, our department will complete an assessment and make sure that you are eligible to receive support.
