Car clubs
Being a member of your local car club means you can hire a car or van by the hour. The vehicles are parked in local streets, and an app or a membership card unlocks the one you have booked, which you simply return when you are done.
Insurance, maintenance and fuel are all covered in the price of the hire. Most car clubs allow to choose from a range of vehicles - large or small, petrol or electric.
There are two car clubs with vehicles in East Lothian – Co-wheels and Enterprise. Why not find which one has vehicles near you and sign up?

Bike hire
Bicycles are available to hire on a day-by-day basis from our local bike shops

- Musselburgh – Ace Bike Co
People living in or visiting Pencaitland are also able to hire electric bikes for a week or more from the community eBike hire scheme.
