Why be active?

It's recommended that adults do around 20 minutes a day (or 150 minutes a week) of moderate intensity activity, like walking or cycling. This can help improve your mood and significantly lower your risk of serious long-term health conditions - but last year, one third of adults in the UK didn't do the recommended amount of physical activity.
