2.3 East Lothian Council Structure
Your local Community Development Officer (CDO) is in the Connected Communities Team, which is part of Communities and Partnerships within East Lothian Council. Communities and Partnerhipss is a directorate of services in East Lothian Council which includes protective services, sport countryside and leisure, customer services, communities, and partnerships.
The Connected Communities contact list gives contact details of your local Connected Communities Manager and CDO. You may also have dealings with other departments in the council.
The East Lothian elected representatives, (Councillors), represent the East Lothian population. The Councillors make the decisions for East Lothian, and the council staff implement these through the council structure.
