Adult Learning Programme
COVID-19 has impacted upon the economic environment in which our jobseekers and businesses operate. As the council’s Employability Hub, East Lothian Works plays a vital role in supporting people within the county to prepare for, secure and retain employment. This is done through a focus on core skills necessary for the workplace, working with partners to provide work experience and training or retraining opportunities, and supporting vulnerable young people to access and move into work. East Lothian Works also provides support to employers to recruit, retrain or receive funding for staff.
All available East Lothian Works resources will be targeted towards essential economic recovery and business support. The Adult Learning Programme has been discontinued.
A range of activities will still continue to be offered through Connected Communities.
